Changing the name that will reflect on your Certificate
If you wish to change your name to something different than the one you originally
registered with, please send an email to ncfe@lifecharity.org.uk and allow at least 4
weeks’ notice for the process of change to be completed.
Change of name can only be honoured if there is more than two months before your
course end date. This allows for NCFE notice and implementation of new name to be
refreshed ready to be reflected on your certificate.
Some reasons to request a change of name are: –
• If you get married
• If you receive a title
• If you change your name by deed poll
For the change to be processed efficiently, it is necessary to send in proof of the
name change. For example, this can be a copy of: –
• Marriage Certificate
• Change of name document
• Certificate of changed title
• Supported with evidence of a utility bill or bank statement if possible
Once these documents are received the information will be shared with NCFE and
the above timeline will be actioned.
